In 1999 Randy and I (Ann) moved to Claxton, GA from Fort Myers, FL. For 2 years I continued my work as a Critical Care Nurse and Randy did miscellaneous jobs around the area. We often took trips to the various outdoor expos as we had done for many years from Florida. And before long we became interested in becoming vendors. In 2001 after long discussions with other vendors we found our niche - end of season clothing and miscellaneous hunting supplies that we could sell to the customers at bargain prices. About a year or so later we also began selling seasonings (from another vendor) that we had been using for several years before we started expos ourselves. With the help of many friends and family we did most of the shows in Georgia and South Carolina. So many of you have been seeing us for years at one or two of these events. You may have meet these friends and family there too -- Saucy Ladies TERESA, IVA, and/or VICKY. Saucy Guys WILLY, JIM, KO, BRYAN and/or CHARLIE.
In 2008 thru 2012 we decided to concentrate on selling just the seasonings and pocket / hunting knives. Randy also made Antler Art which we will add to site soon. By then I had started making and selling jewelry too. We expanded our area of selling to include Florida, South and North Carolina. In mid 2012 we played around with a sauce that was apple based to add to our selling tables. After 13 years of selling the other brand of seasonings and sauces we decided to jump in with our own brand and BIG BUCK SAUCES AND SEASONINGS was launched. Then in 2013 I was diagnosed with Diabetes and rapidly developed severe neuropathy (pain) in both my feet and lower legs. I had to quit nursing and do less at the shows but thanks to the friends and family who help us frequently we have continued to grow.
Now in 2015 we have 6 sopping sauce flavors , 2 syrup flavors, and 2 lemon pepper seasonings. With your help we have enjoyed expanding our lines and selling at the shows. With the continued support of our family and friends and most of all you, our customers, we will have many more successful years at the shows. Please visit our booth at the shows you attend to let us know what you think about products and how you use them. There is a recipe page here for you to share with others how you use the sauces, syrups. jellies. and seasonings. I have also included a testimony page for you to let others know how you like (or dislike) our products. Also when there you can give us some suggestions for improving our current line or ideas of something new. And you can always use the contact page to call, email, or text us any questions or concerns.
